Rosendale Running for US House

GLENDIVE -

Another Republican candidate will throw his hat into the ring for the US House of Representatives.

Matt Rosendale made the announcement in Glendive on Tuesday.

He believes Congress needs more character, common sense and conservative values ahead of party, big business or personal enrichment.

Rosendale is a rancher from eastern Montana and is currently serving his first term as a state senator.

He will join five other republicans and one democrat in the race for November 2014 -- all running for Republican Steve Daines' seat -- who analysts believe will run for senate to replace the retiring Max Baucus.
