Breast Cancer: Local Tattoo Shop Gives Back

BILLINGS -

If you like ink, a local tattoo shop is specializing a tattoo for the Breast Cancer Awareness month.

For the entire month of October, Cin City is promoting their breast cancer ribbon tattoo for $60 with all the money going towards breast cancer research.

The owner, Cindy Hahn, has been doing this for 6 years because her mother in law was affected, and is a breast cancer survivor.

Hahn also said people usually get the tattoo because they know a survivor, but when a man walked into the shop in 2008, he surprised her with his reason for the tattoo.

"And he says well actually I don't know anyone with breast cancer, and I thought what? And he said I heard your ad and I heard what you guys were doing, and I thought it was just the right thing to do," Hahn said.

Hahn said that they will be at Skyview High School Tuesday night for Pack the Place in Pink at the girls volley ball game to paint the breast cancer ribbon on student's face for a dollar.

Hahn also says last year she raised $903, and all the proceeds will go to back to the event.

Susanne Rodell faced a difficult situation. Hail storm damage to her roof led to an insurance claim being filed. Rodell picked a local contractor to fix her roof, but mother nature did not cooperate. While the roofing company was in the middle of fixing her roof, a weekend of rain caused water damage to dry wall and ceilings within the house.
