YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK -

Wyoming protestors are organizing a petition to send to republican Senator Mike Enzi, hoping to reopen Yellowstone National Park.

Nearly 120 organizers protested at the east gate entrance nearly Cody Sunday. They signed their names and share how the shutdown negatively affects their lives. Organizer, Rick Satterhwaite, said he planned to hand deliver the petition to Senator Enzi Tuesday. Rick said he hopes Senator Enzi will take the petition to the senate floor in Washington, D.C. Governor Matt Mead has already said he will not use state funds to reopen the park, even though the federal government will allow it.
