The 5th Annual Yellowstone Elementary School Cross Country Meet took place on Tuesday night, but before it all started, St. Vincent Healthcare and Kohl's Cares awarded a grant to a local organization.

David Irion, President of the St. Vincent's Healthcare Foundation, was presented a $23,071 check to promote the health and wellness of students in our community.

Irion said, "We do as a foundation as a community to encourage children at an early age to be part of a healthy community, and into early habits of healthy lifestyles.

Irion also says part of the money will go towards footwear and clothing for children who don't have athletic apparel.
