SD-2 Leaders Need Help to Pass the Bond

The November election is weeks away, and School District 2 needs the public's help to pass a bond.

School leaders say the district is overcrowded, and if the school bond doesn't pass it's predicted billings schools will be 1,500 students over capacity.

District leaders are giving a series of presentations about the overcrowding. According to Superintendent, Terry Bouck, if it passes the bond will build two new middle schools, and two new elementary schools.

Parents today came out to show their support for the bond.

Nadie Seger, a Physician said, "I'm for the bond."

Dennis Ulvestad, Rimrock Mall Security Guard said, "I'm definItely for the bond. The reason I am for the bond is because our children our the future."

The overall cost for it is a $122.3 million dollar bond. School administrators say it would cost the owner of a $200,000 home.
