BILLINGS -

A date is set for a coroner's inquest into the shooting death of 29-year-old Daniel Brawley in January of this year.

The Yellowstone County Attorney says the inquest will start on November 5th at the Yellowstone County Detention Facility. Brawley and his wife 25-year old Heather Brawley allegedly broke into a home on Miles Avenue on January 6th.

Police say Daniel Brawley managed to slip one hand out of his flex cuff while in a patrol car. He crawled through the partition, and tried to drive off in the police car. He backed the car into a tree and hit officer Dave Punt in the process. Officer Punt fired nine shots at the car, hitting Daniel and killing him.

Big Horn County Coroner Terry Bullis will head up the coroner's inquest, which is expected to last 2 days.

Susanne Rodell faced a difficult situation. Hail storm damage to her roof led to an insurance claim being filed. Rodell picked a local contractor to fix her roof, but mother nature did not cooperate. While the roofing company was in the middle of fixing her roof, a weekend of rain caused water damage to dry wall and ceilings within the house.
