BILLINGS -

Some of the hidden treasures here in Billings will be featured on national television this weekend.

Billings, along with 19 other cities, will be featured in C-SPAN's 2013 Cities Tour, highlighting literary life and history in the Magic City. The program will feature Pictograph Cave State Park, Pompeys Pillar, and the Little Big Horn Battlefield.

"Anytime that Billings gets recognized for one thing or anything, and CSPAN is big. This is very, very important for us. It helps me, it helps with my job as Mayor to promote the city of Billings. And of course, I'm very excited to know that Billings has been recognized and will certainly get a lot of attention," says Mayor Tom Hanel.

The Book TV segments will air throughout the day on Saturday, October 5th beginning at noon on Charter Channel 14. The American History TV segments will air on Sunday, October 6th beginning at 5 PM on Charter Channel 113.
