Billings Senior Goes on Modified Lockdown

Posted: Updated:

Billings Senior High School went on a short, modified lockdown Tuesday morning.

According to Billings Police Lieutenant Kevin Iffland, officers were called to the 500 block of Grand Avenue for a suspicious device. After a short investigation, officers realized the device was a pipe-locating device owned by the Bureau of Land Management. School officials were notified of the situation. Doors were locked, and students were told to stay put Tuesday morning for about ten minutes.

According to Senior High Administration, the modified lockdown was lifted and school resumed as normal.
