Plea for Blood

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

United Blood Services staff need your help to save a life. They want to put out an emergency appeal to you for blood donations.

Due to the Labor Day Holiday, snowstorms and high usage, the demand for blood outpaced supply. They need all blood types but especially O-positive, O-negative, A-negative and B-negative.

United Blood Services says the ongoing need for blood is critical in keeping a stable blood supply in the area. To donate, you must be at least 16, weight a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good health. United Blood Services will have extended hours and you can call 248-9168 to make an appointment.
