Downtown MRM Bargain Center To Close

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

The downtown Montana Rescue Mission Bargain Center is set to close down within the next few weeks.

Director Perry Roberts says the downtown store loses money every month. He says the eight employees at the store won't lose their jobs. They will work at the other two MRM stores in the West End and the Heights. Roberts says those two stores are busy and need employees.

The downtown bargain store moved to the location on Minnesota Avenue two years ago hoping it would do well.

All merchandise will move to the other two stores. Roberts says it may reopen in the future.
