BILLINGS -

Keeping America's veterans and families strong, that has been the mission of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars or VFW.

The organization will be celebrating it's 100th anniversary on Friday.

"I understand there is going to be a barbecue, just a fun day for people to participate in. Maybe invite some of the veterans out, have some of them there. Basically a fun day for them and their families," said national president of the organization, Armithea Borel.

The Mardi Gras rodeo and BBQ starts Friday at 5:00 p.m. at the VFW Post 6774 on 637 Anchor Drive.
