BILLINGS -

The Family Promise of Yellowstone Valley will hold it's 6th annual Cardboard Box City. The group is part of the Interfaith Hospitality Network. The event will happen on the practice field at Rocky Mountain College on October 12th. The fundraiser is to help homeless families in Billings and to raise awareness of their situation.

"Homelessness is a very big problem in Billings, and about 500 people in the school district #2 last year...the children were homeless," says Laura Graham, Executive Director.

Participants can decorate and bring their own cardboard boxes, which they sleep in for one night. There will be prizes for the best decorated boxes and the biggest fundraisers.

It costs $25 to register and you can do that by calling (406) 294-7432 or go to connections for a link to the site.
