Healthcare Exchange Starts October 1st

BILLINGS -

According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, about two thirds of uninsured Americans polled say they don't understand how the health care reform law, commonly called "Obamacare," will affect them.

The new offering reportedly represents the biggest change to healthcare since Medicare.

On October 1st, 2013, the Obamacare state insurance exchanges are going to open, and if you're one of the millions of Americans without insurance, you'll probably be required to get it.

Steven Bentley says the transition will be a roller coaster.

Steven Bentley, Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Avitus Group said, "Hopefully it won't be an absolute train wreck when it's all said and done. This is an experiment. We're a country full of experiments, and we really need to let this ride out, and see how it works. If it doesn't work it needs to be tossed."
