Parade of Homes Has Great Turnout

BILLINGS -

The Parade of Homes wrapped up Sunday and organizers say this year's event was even bigger.

Members of the Home Builders Association of Billings say the number of visitors is higher than last year. They say it's probably because it gives people a chance to see and interact with the different parts of the home.

"It's a very unique event that billings has that allows people to do something completely different than they would ever do on any other weekend and just kind of see what is possible in a new home and what is possible in how people can live," said Ryan Helgeson, 2013 HBA president.

The parade this year showcased 16 homes. Funds from the ticket sales will go to the Home Builders Association of Billings. A portion of those funds will also go to charities in the area.
