BILLINGS -

Dozens of kids at developmental center had to be evacuated from their building Tuesday because of a bomb threat.

Billings police were notified of a call about a bomb at Ahead of the Curve on Hesper Road. Officers immediately took the necessary precautions to make sure everyone was safe.

"Someone called into the school stated there was a bomb in the school and hung the phone and really don't have much more than that. We followed safety protocol, got the kids out of there, do a sweep of the school and make sure nothing is in there, carrying on from business from there, now we have to actually investigate and see who made the call, follow-up with that," said Sergeant Shane Winden.

After the building was checked, everyone was allowed to return.
