BILLINGS -

If you want a healthier lifestyle, but don't have the time to make it happen, some local healthcare providers have an idea for you.

Healthy by Design is an initiative created by the alliance of RiverStone Health, St. Vincent Healthcare, and Billings Clinic. The free classes are supposed to help people make day to day changes without adding more to their daily routines.

"What we want families, men and women to understand is physical activity will help you sleep better, feel better, have better mental health, reduce your anxiety, reduce your stress, and help you feel better overall for your day to day life," says Jeanne Manske, Healthy by Design representative.

"Maybe taking the stairs, taking a different route. Maybe parking away from the grocery store and taking a little bit extra time to walk can really increase the healthy benefits," says Paul Jones, a Healthy by Design Instructor.

The free 12-week "Active Living Every Day" classes begin September 30th. They are open to men and women 18 and up. Call (406)237-3950 for more information and to register.
