Business Donates to Make-A-Wish

BILLINGS -

A local business wanted to help make a dream come true for a Make-A-Wish child.

Palagio's Pub and Casino raised $6,000 on bartender appreciation night for Make-A-Wish.

The owner contacted the organization to tell them he wanted to donate funds to help a local wish child. The Make-A-Wish Foundation helps local children with life-threatening medical conditions. Organizers say these donations are important.

"Being able to have a wish granted to them gives them a chance to be a child again," said Stevie Moe, Montana Make-A-Wish's manager. "It gives them a chance to be able to experience childhood and have an adventure with their family, forget about what they're dealing with on a daily basis and just experience the joys of childhood."

The funds are going to Shelby, a local wish child. She will be going to the Country Music Awards in November with her family.
