Trailer Home Engulfed by Fire

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

A trailer home in Billings went up in flames after 8 PM Wednesday night.

Firefighters were called to unit number thirty-seven, on 307 South Billings Boulevard, where they found a fully engulfed trailer home upon arrival.

Our KULR-8 photojournalist, who was on the scene, spoke to two neighbors and the man living inside of the trailer home.

The neighbors say they initially saw the front door and deck on fire, and then they banged on the walls and windows of the trailer to alert the homeowner. When the homeowner eventually opened the back door, he and the neighbors say the flames shot straight up and through the windows. The resident and one of the neighbors then went back into the trailer to rescue the homeowner's dog.

The battalion chief on the scene said the cause of the fire is not yet known.
