Olive Garden Employees Give Back

BILLINGS -

While people enjoy a three-day weekend, many members of the workforce treat Labor Day as any other Monday. That's why local Olive Garden employees are giving back.

On Monday, Billings Olive Garden Manager, Steve Kramarich, delivered nearly 80 meals to firefighters, police officers, and emergency room staff at Billings Clinic at St. Vincent Healthcare and Billings Clinic. Steve said it's his way of showing his appreciation for their hard work. Responders say they're just doing their job. "We just want to say thank you to the people who are there for us. We don't necessarily see them every day, but when we do need them we know they're there for us. It's a way of saying 'hey, we're going to serve you today,'" Kramarich said.

"It's just a great feeling they thank us this way, and it means a lot to us," Billings Fire Department Battalion Chief; Terry Larson said.

Steve Kramarich said 820 Olive Garden managers nationwide delivered to their local first responders on Labor Day. Steve said it's a nearly 12-year tradition that he started in the Magic City.
