Meth-Laced Coffee Spiker Sentenced

BILLINGS, Mont. -

A judge on Tuesday sentenced the man who spiked a coffee maker with meth at his mother's tax business.

Craig Benedict, 36, will spend five years in prison.

In February of 2012, Benedict worked at his mother's Laser 1040 office on Grand Avenue. The report says he spiked the coffee maker out of anger after another employee asked him to take a drug test.

Toxicology tests found one employee and three customers drank the meth-laced coffee.

Benedict pleaded no contest to the crime back in May.
