Teachers Prepare for First Day of School

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

School has started at some schools already, and staff at Billings Public Schools are getting ready to start on Wednesday.

Teachers are putting the finishing touches in their classrooms, hanging up posters, setting up name tags, and finishing up lesson plans. Many teachers say making their classroom nice and bright with plenty to see is a great way to catch the student's interest right away.

"If they have a bright classroom, they're going to be excited. They are going to have new things to do. It'll just be excited for them. A good learning room," says Jessica Wagner, a 4th Grade Teacher at Burlington Elementary.

Send us your photos of your child's first day of school. You can post them on our Facebook page or send them to news@kulr.com.
