Gun Show Displays History

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

The gun show in Billings brought many collectors and vendors to display everything from antique to modern firearms.

Organizers say there is an entire cross section of guns at the show. People came from Texas and the East Coast to show and sell their firearms. Organizers say the event shows a long history of the weapons.

"There's so much of the stuff here from a historic standpoint and the level of collecting interest covers all across the spectrum, not only firearms but for old knives, old ammunition," said Brian Kjensmo, the Billings gun show owner and promoter.

Organizers say almost everything at the show is for sale. People could buy firearms for kids or for hunting. Organizers say that the show brings gems, like a 1896 Winchester that appraised for nearly $65,000.

The next show is in November after Thanksgiving weekend.
