BILLINGS -

The two nuns who were attacked are on the mend. According to a St. Vincent Healthcare spokesperson, the two have been taken to a transitional care facility for rehabilitation.

Community Director of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, Sister Maureen Hall, said she appreciates everything the Billings Police Department is doing to investigate.

At last word, 32-year-old Christopher Pine, the man accused of assaulting both women, has been charged with felony aggravated burglary. His bail is $250,000. Billings Police said they are still investigating leads on a man and woman who may have been involved in the attack of the two sisters and a similar crime from the previous night.
