MontanaFair More Accessible Than Before

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

It is safe to assume at least a few of the 250,000 estimated fairgoers at MontanaFair are handicapped, and MontanaFair officials say it is now easier for those people to move around MetraPark.

Since the 2010 Father's Day Tornado, officials say they have doubled handicapped accessibility around MetraPark, including more parking spaces, restrooms, and improved sidewalks.

"We can easily accommodate folks, and it's a wonderful feeling to be able to do that. It's great that for the most part people are going to be able to use those areas," said Sue Devries, Assistant General Manager of MetraPark. She went on to say they also accommodate people with hearing loss and visual limitations.

Anyone needing assistance should call 256-2400.
