Biker Identified in Crash

BILLINGS -

The coroner released the name of the man who died while riding his motorcycle near Billings on Sunday.

The Yellowstone County Coroner says 46-year-old Merlin Boyer died of blunt-force trauma. Montana Highway Patrol troopers report the crash happened around 1:30 PM nearly 12 miles south of Billings on Blue Creek Road. Troopers said Boyer was not wearing a helmet during the accident.
