Police Search for Armed Man

BILLINGS -

Billings police are searching for a man, who they initially believed was the prime suspect in a shooting.

Sergeant Neil Lawrence reports officers were called to the intersection of King Avenue West and South 20th Street around 7:30 PM Saturday night. Upon arrival, officers learned a heavy-set man in his late 20s almost drove over two other men with his black Ford F-350 pickup. Officers say the two men jumped in pickup bed and the driver displayed a gun. The men jumped from the pickup and one of the men injured their arm.

Initial reports from the department suggested the injured man had been shot, but further investigation indicates he was not.

Police are still searching for the driver. If you have any further information you're asked to call 657-8460.
