Severe Storm Batters Acton

ACTON -

A severe storm battered Billings and surrounding area Thursday evening, and the town of Acton, approximately 17 miles northwest of Billings, was caught in the middle of some of the action.

Residents in town said the storm rolled through around 8 p.m. They report hearing a lot of hail, and then roofs started blowing off their homes.

Yellowstone County Sheriffs were on scene, and said at least four trailers and one house were damaged, but no one was injured.
