Koncert for Kidz Raises Brain Injury Awareness

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

Kids have something to get excited about this weekend. It's the 5th Annual Koncert for Kidz.

This summer tradition is dedicated to providing a kid friendly event with various activities to entertain the crowd. The Billings Brain Injury Support Group hosts the Koncert for Kidz in an effort to raise awareness about brain injury.

After surviving a car wreck, the event coordinator found a way to put his love for performing arts to use to help Brain Injury Support Groups.

"I'm always trying to find ways to utilize my arts background to assist the disability community and that's how this whole Koncert for Kidz made sense as a benefit for the support group," said Ian Elliot, Koncert for Kidz Coordinator.

Koncert for Kidz will be at the South Park Gazebo on Friday starting at 6:30 PM, with the pre-show fun beginning at 5:30 PM.
