New Report Shows Affordable Care Act Benefits

BILLINGS -

A new report by the Obama Administration is showing the positive benefits of the Affordable Care Act on the Treasure State.

According to figures released by the Department of Health and Human Services, close to 190,000 Montanans who are currently uninsured will be eligible for insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace that will open on October 1st.

In addition, over 400,000 Montanans will benefit in 2014 from a provision that will ban insurance companies from denying someone with a pre-existing condition insurance coverage.
