BILLINGS -

Governor Bullock awarded grants to assist coal impacted communities.

The grant of $1.5 million will be spread across thirteen projects in Yellowstone County, Musselshell County, Big Horn County, and other towns. These communities have seen growth arising from the coal developments in the area. The money will be used to improve community infrastructure in schools, water systems, hospitals, and roads.

Bullock says the money will ensure safety in these communities.
