ZooMontana Transformed into 16th Century Village

BILLINGS -

ZooMontana has been transformed into a 16th century English village for the Montana Renaissance Faire and Highland Games.

It's the largest Renaissance fair in the area, where lords, ladies, knights, and fairies revel in the 16th century European festivities. Costumes were encouraged, jousting was common, and playing with fire was one of several ways to find entertainment.

"I love the imagination, the creativity, the magic of it all. I mean, it really brings everybody together and it's a great community outcome," said Katelyn Anton, a Renaissance Performer.

Organizers say the three day fair brought people in from all over the area for festivities.
