BILLINGS -

The man who led law enforcement officers on a high speed chase back in March changes his plea in district court Friday.

James Wiles pleads guilty to one count of criminal endangerment, one count of felony theft, and one count of fleeing from a peace officer. According to prosecutors, Wiles stole a Subaru Outback in Laurel, then led officers on a pursuit from Laurel into Billings, and was finally stopped with spike strips. Wiles has prior felony convictions and a lengthy criminal history. He is due back in court for sentencing on September 30th.
