Lockwood Man who Threatened Schools is Sentenced

A Lockwood man faced sentencing Thursday for calling in a school shooting threat last December.

Fifty-two year old Rodney Wilm pled guilty in April to one count of intimidation. A judge gave him a five year suspended sentence plus he must complete Veterans Court. Prosecutors say, in December, Wilm called 911 in the middle of the night and claimed there would be a school shooting the next day, then hung up the phone. The call was placed days after the Sandy Hook shooting. Deputies traced the call to Wilm's home address.
