Biker Dies After Deer Collision

BILLINGS, Mont. -

A biker who collided with a deer on Billings' west end on July 14th died on July 19th.

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Todd Hagenbuch reports the 51-year-od man was riding near the intersection of 64th and Grand Avenue around 2:00 PM Sunday when he hit a deer and skidded nearly 100 feet down the road. The man was flowing to St. Vincent Healthcare's Intensive Care Unit. This marks the first of two motorcycle fatalities on Grand Avenue in a week.

    Around 4:20 p.m., a report came of a structure fire in Lockwood off Dickie Road. Our reporter on the scene has not spoken with authorities but says it appears to be one or two trailers on fire. Fire officials believe it was unoccupied at the time. There is no word yet on how the fire started.
