ZooMontana received a $5,000 grant from the Wendy's of Montana Foundation. Funds will go to support new education programs at ZooMontana.

In addition to the grant, Wendy's was a major sponsor to this years Family Fun Day at ZooMontana, which allowed for admission to only be $1 for Sunday. Zoo goers say it was a chance to learn about the zoo and enjoy the summer sun.

"We got two munchkins and we wanted to come out and actually have something to do. And it's not too hot out today," said Jaymi Vanrooyen of Billings. "Our little guy loves bouncy castles. And it's a cheaper event for the entire community, which is really nice to have."

ZooMontana had some special animal guest for the day. Billings Police Department brought some of their Police Canines over to put on an educational and entertaining demonstration.
