Habitat for Humanity Benefit Concert

BILLINGS, Mont. -

A Montana based singer known for his unique blend of indie rock, soulful songwriting, and distinctive vocals visited Billings for a benefit concert at Bones Brewery Sunday night.

Luke Dowler chose to hold this concert to benefit Habitat for Humanity because losing a home is something that hit close to home for him.

"Around 2008, when the recession hit, a lot of friends and even family started to lose their homes, the idea of a home just really struck me as being super important and giving an opportunity for families to grow. And so, the opportunity for me came up to partner with Habitat for Humanity, and I jumped at it," said Dowler.

Fifty percent of door proceeds went to the Mid-Yellowstone Valley Habitat for Humanity. If you're interested in finding out about volunteer opportunities, call (406)652-0960.
