Montana Schools Receive Federal Grant

BILLINGS -

Superintendent Denise Juneau announced a grant of $1.8 million dollars Thursday morning.

The Office of Public Instruction will use the money over the next four years to improve the well-being of students at Native American reservations in Montana. Juneau says the money will allow for expansion of a wraparound program that individualizes plans of care for students.

"What these wraparound services do, is they really create a family centered team," she said. "They really look at where the students needs are and really coordinate efforts at the local level to help that student succeed academically.
