Playhouse Parade Checks Awarded to Programs

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS, Mont. -

Representatives from the Rimrock Mall present the Family Tree Center, the Downtown Exchange Club, and Habitat for Humanity with a large sum of money collected from the Playhouse Parade.

The event raised over $40,000 for those three programs, benefiting at risk children in Billings. Usually the Playhouse Parade is every other year, but Rimrock Mall Manager Kendall Kavlie is excited to announce that Playhouse will now be taking place every year.

"Playhouse Parade was again very successful this year. Over the course of Playhouse Parade since we started it with Don and Marilyn Floberg, we've raised nearly half a million dollars and we've got momentum and already have two builders that have signed on for next year," says Kavlie.

Eggart Construction and Montana Hill Builders are the two construction companies already on board for the 2014 Playhouse Parade.
