Police To Host Women's Safety Workshop

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

After reports of numerous sexual assaults in the area, the Billings Police Department is inviting women in the city to attend a Women's Personal Safety Event next Thursday.

In a statement, Billings Police Lieutenant Kevin Iffland said the event will be held at MSU-Billings' Alterowitz Gym, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Iffland said no men will be allowed at the event.

The course will focus on ways women can proactively protect themselves, and how they can fight back against a larger and stronger attacker.

The event is free for everyone eligible.
