Leaders Meet On Exposition Gateway Plans

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

Business leaders met with government leaders from Billings and the Yellowstone County Friday to discuss the future of the Exposition Gateway area of Billings.

Plans are currently underway to transform the current industrial areas west of MetraPark and east of Downtown. The group, officially known as the Trailhead Hospitality Corridor Vision Steering Committee, meets once every two months to talk about updates to the project.

Big Sky EDA Executive Director Steve Arveschoug said the meetings are becoming more important, as the plans are close to being implemented.

"In order to really make them happen, we have to have a clear vision for what that area needs to look like. A clear vision helps you bring money to the table, to actually accomplish things," said Arveschoug.
