Construction Truck Trailer Overturns on I-90

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

Part of I-90 was closed Thursday when a construction truck trailer overturned.

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Todd Hagenbuch said the 1990 Peterbilt truck was traveling eastbound on I-90 when it began to fishtail. The driver reportedly attempted to slow down, causing the fishtailing to increase.

The truck's trailer tipped over and spilled its load of asphalt onto the road. The truck belongs to Springline Construction from Worden. The driver was not injured. The cause of the fishtailing is still under investigation, but Trooper Hagenbuch said it may have been due to an imbalance in the truck's load.

Susanne Rodell faced a difficult situation. Hail storm damage to her roof led to an insurance claim being filed. Rodell picked a local contractor to fix her roof, but mother nature did not cooperate. While the roofing company was in the middle of fixing her roof, a weekend of rain caused water damage to dry wall and ceilings within the house.
