Branding Iron Feed 2013

BILLINGS, Mont. -

Some auction action took place Wednesday evening, and all in the name of kids.

According to organizers, the Branding Iron Rocky Mountain Oyster Feed has been raising money for college-bound high school kids for the past seven years. On Wednesday evening, they were raising money again at a parking lot near The Rex.

Besides an auction, there was food on sale, which obviously included the namesake food of the fundraiser.

"We have many kids that have came back to us with Ph.D.'s, and degrees. Wherever they went. It's a great event for us. It's good for the kids, and we enjoy doing it," said Mike Okragly. He said over the years, these fundraisers have raised $300,000.
