Warrant Executed on Suspected Drug House

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

More than a dozen federal agents and police officers executed a warrant on a suspected drug house on Billings' South Side early Thursday morning.

A warrant was issued partly because of several complaints by neighbors about possible drug activity in the house. Just after 6 AM, officers searched the house at the corner of 2nd Avenue South, and South 40th Street. They found 13 people in the house, many were well-known to law enforcement.

Billings Police Sergeant Brian Korell said preliminary evidence found in the home indicated that methamphetamine was recovered. No arrests have been made, but Koreel said arrests could be possible pending lab results of the evidence found.
