Movies in the Park Continue

Free movies in the park is underway. The second movie in the series is coming up.

On Friday, the second movie, "Hotel Transylvania," will play at Veteran's Park at 9:15 p.m. On July 12, "Rise of the Guardians" will play at South Park. Dr. Seuss's "The Lorax" will play on July 26 at Veteran's Park.

On August 2 at Castlerock Park, you can watch "Madagascar 3." The last movie in the series is August 23 at Pioneer Park. You can have a hand in what movie will play. Just go to the Firefly Outdoor Movie Company's Facebook page to vote for the movie you'd like to see. All movies start at 9:15 p.m.

Again, the movies are free, but there will be concessions and proceeds from those will go to the Billings Kiwanis Youth Programs.

    Can you imagine building a hotel by stacking one floor on top of another? That’s what’s happening in Yellowstone. The Park’s lodging concessionaire, Xanterra, tore out hundreds of old cabins in Canyon Village, and started construction this summer on five new lodges to replace them. The new lodges are actually modular jigsaw puzzles.
