Midlife Chryslers Benefit Concert

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS, Mont. -

KULR-8's very own "Cookout For A Cure" was not the only cancer fundraiser in the Magic City Tuesday.

The streets in the Josephine Crossing subdivision in south Billings were packed with parked cars Tuesday evening, as people gathered for a benefit concert put on by local band, Midlife Chryslers. Besides great music, there were also food and cold drinks for the people who came.

"One of the things we're worried about was just getting people here, and getting the word out. The cars are still flowing in, and that's just incredible," said Sara Ruff, as the event got started.

The concert also had a special meaning for the band. KULR-8 had brought you the story of the band's personal experience with cancer. One of the band members was recently diagnosed with leukemia, and another member's wife was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Relay for Life in Yellowstone County starts on July 12th.
