Paid Parking for Some Spots at Metra

BILLINGS, Mont. -

Paid parking at MetraPark could happen as early as fair time. Yellowstone County Commissioners approved a plan to add some paid parking at Metra. The spots are across Bench Boulevard from Rimrock Auto Arena.

Commissioner Jim Reno says there'll be about 250 paved spots. Some of those will be available on a daily basis and others on a yearly basis. It could possibly cost you $10 to park for the day there. Reno says the spots should bring in nearly $62,000 a year. And those who park there won't have to cross Bench Boulevard there's a tunnel that goes under the street that connects the parking lot to the arena.
