The North Dakota Highway Patrol released the names of two Montana motorcyclists who died near Trenton Thursday.

Eighteen-year-old Edmund Kimmel of Roundup and twenty-year-old Blake Reynolds of Fairview both died after the driver of a van tried to pass a semi, and the driver collided with the bikers. Troopers report one biker landed in a ditch and the other was struck by the semi.

The driver of the van was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries. The truck driver was unharmed.
