Flooding Causes Road Closures

Some of the notable closures, or limited speed areas according to the Montana Department of Transportation,  include MT-66 approximately two miles south of the Lodgepole turnoff.  Little People's Bridge has been implementing reduced speed since Friday to 35 miles per hour.

Earlier US-12 17.5 miles east of Townsend facing single lane traffic starting this morning at 7:15am with crews needing to unload a semi that tipped onto its side, which has since been cleared.  According to Montana Highway Patrol, US-191 from Bohemian Corner to Dy-Junction north of Grass Range, you'll see a road closure due to flooding since nine this morning.  There is also flooding on the roadway at milepost 73 and milepost 103 to milepost 104.

The water is estimated to be at least one foot deep in some spots and dangerous for traffic, so travelers will need to find an alternate route.
