UPDATE: The first movie in the Movie in the Parks series has been rescheduled. "Wreck it Ralph" will now play on Saturday, June 1st at Veteran's Park at 9:15pm.

 

Several opportunities exist for you to catch free family movies in Billings this summer.

Several organizations are teaming up for Movies In The Park, a series of six movies played at various parks in the Magic City. The first movie, "Wreck It Ralph", is Friday May 31st at Pioneer Park at 9:15pm. The next movie, "Hotel Transylvania", is June 21st at Veteran's Park at 9:30pm.

On July 12th "Rise of the Guardians" will play at South Park at 9:45pm. "Dr. Seuss's The Lorax" will play on July 26th at 9:45pm at Veteran's Park. On August 2nd at Castle Rock Park you can watch "Madagascar 3" at 9:40pm. And the last movie of the series is August 23rd at Pioneer Park. You can have a hand in what movie will play.

If you go to Firefly Outdoor Movie Company's facebook page you can vote for the movie you'd like to see. The movies are free, but there will be concessions and proceeds from those will go to the Billings Kiwanis youth programs.
