WY Business Holds Fundraiser for Honor Flight

BILLINGS -

Owners of B&B Concessions traveled from Burlington, WY to Billings this weekend to raise money for the June Big Sky Honor Flight.

The Krause Family brought their business, B&B Concessions, and held a barbecue at Ace Hardware on Zimmerman Trail where proceeds will go to the next flight. For this family, it hits close to home since their friends who fought in World War II, were never able to see the memorial.

"Just an honor to take in as a tribute to all my friends I grew up with in Lewistown, Montana. And most of them have passed away and didn't get to go. And we got to thinking, we needed this done a few years back and so, when our best man passed away and he didn't get to go. We got to thinking, hey, we need to keep these flights going. So, that's what we're doing here," says J.R. Butch Krause.

Many were standing in line to enjoy some food and help support a good cause, including Bill Crago of Billings.

"Well the Veterans have done a lot for our country, and certainly honoring them and getting them back to see the memorial is pretty special," says Crago.
